Happy Coaches Week!

This week is "Thank your Coach Week"! So let's not forget to #ThanksCoach this week (and every week really).

I for one am very thankful for our head coach, Heather. She has been my coach my entire adult skating career and has seen me grow and change as a person, and a skater, I am always thankful for her pep-talks, her head shakes (you know the one... the "I know you can do that better" shake), her continuous support during assessments and competitions and her ability to stand in the freezing arena and still laugh with us.

So, as we move forward in our second week of skating, let's remember all that our coach does for us. Especially with all the new protocols we all need to navigate!

I for one think this week has been a success! I am proud to be not only the President of the GoldStar Skating Club, but a member as well.
